A lot of you have asked us some version of the same question:

"Are you guys going to start a Patreon?”

We talked about it. A lot…

… and the answer is NO.

We don’t want this podcast behind a paywall.

We don’t want bonus tears, gated episodes, or a version of “Darren & Josh Make a Movie” where the good stuff lives somewhere else.

The show works because it’s open. Because it’s messy. Because anyone can stumble into the conversation and learn something without pulling out a credit card.

That said… running this thing isn’t free. Time. Energy. Hosting. Prep. Travel. It all adds up. AND we need to purchase some equipment to help with the production value.

But instead of charging people to listen, we decided to offer something else that might be meaningful to some.

For the filmmakers who keep DM’ing us scripts and asking for help.

For the ones asking, “Can you look at this idea and tell me what you think?”

For the emerging filmmaker that feel like no one will open their email or return their calls.

For the actors who are tired of creating self-tapes and sending them into the void with no feedback.

For the people who don’t just want content… they want CONTACT.

This isn’t a Patreon.

It’s not extra episodes.

It’s not access to us pretending to be inspirational.

It’s an open door… occasionally.

If you’re a filmmaker who wants to go deeper than the podcast allows…

If you want the kind of honest, pressure-tested dialogue we usually keep between ourselves…

That’s what this is.

Nothing on the podcast changes. Nothing gets locked away.
